Great to meet you!

If you face depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personal & work challenges, relationship issues, grief, and/or life transitions and stress you are not alone. Many people are struggling with these issues and seek support through counseling. As a licensed clinical social worker working in GA for 30+ years, I have the education, experience, listening skills and flexibility to help you find ways to cope such as Mindfulness(learning to be present in the moment) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(learning to identify and reframe negative thinking and emotions), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy(accepting emotions and commiting to change).

My approach to therapy

Evaluation in 1st session, identifying client goals, listening to the client's concerns and together, working with them to deal with depression, anxiety and stress. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Compassion-based are my main approaches to counseling a client.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I like to get to know the client, their challenges and how these challenges affect their mood. I want the client to get to know me. I want them to know that their challenges and emotions are heard and validated and that they can learn new ways to cope through counseling.
