Great to meet you!

I work primarily with adults above 18 and queer individuals who are going through life transitions, burnout, academic stress, anxiety, grief, and depression. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and have been practicing for 5+ years. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2021 with my Master's in Clinical Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with individuals from diverse experiences and identities, and am mindful of how intersections of cultures/identities/experiences can influence an individual’s perspective, mental health, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I use a foundation of person-centered wholistic approach and bring in aspects of other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. This means that at the core, I center you as a whole individual and all the experiences and identities you hold. I keep in mind the communities and cultures you are part of to see how the individual and collective lens can be used to move towards our goal.

What you can expect from me

If it's your first time in therapy, and you would like some structure, I can provide structure and discuss what therapy can look like. If you have done therapy in the past and want to get into some more immediate concerns, that is also welcome.
