Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Sara, and I am a therapist for skeptics.

If you’ve avoided therapy because it’s just talking, you tried it and left thinking it wasn’t helpful, or you’re just straight-up unsure, you’re not alone. I am a professional counselor, addiction counselor, and trauma specialist, and I get it. I focus on meaningful work that goes beyond “just talking” by providing a safe and authentic space where you can feel welcomed, seen, and supported.

If you’re hesitant but curious, that’s enough to start.

My approach to therapy

I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and frequently use this approach to help clients build emotion regulation skills, improve relationships, and manage stress. DBT is especially helpful for anyone who wants practical skills in a structured way.

That said, no two people are the same. I tailor my approach to fit you which could include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed methods. Therapy with me is adapted to you and your needs (not just a textbook formula).

What you can expect from me

When working with me, you can expect a safe, supportive space where we can focus on building practical skills while addressing deeper patterns – all with the goal of creating meaningful and lasting change.

If you’ve read this far, reach out! I offer a FREE 15 minute phone consultation so we can see if this feels like the right fit to do this work together.
