Great to meet you!

For 18 years, I worked in education as an elementary school teacher, school therapist, and Director of Counseling, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges teens and families face. In private practice, I work with adolescents (13+), adults, and older adults, helping them navigate stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship struggles. My clients often say they appreciate my direct, motivating, and real approach, which helps them feel like an equal in the therapy process.

My approach to therapy

I am solution-focused, straightforward, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership, where clients feel respected, heard, and challenged to grow. I bring humor, honesty, and practical tools into sessions, while keeping the focus on strategies that create real change. My style is not about endless talking without direction-I work with you to set goals and move toward them step-by-step.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with clear insights, actionable strategies, and a stronger sense of confidence in navigating life challenges. My goal is for you to feel supported but also empowered to make real progress outside of therapy. The environment I create is motivating, equal, and focused on growth, where laughter and honesty are welcomed parts of the process. Over time, clients often report feeling more capable, resilient, and inspired to move forward in ways that truly matter to them.
