Great to meet you!

I am an experienced therapist with a long history of working with Individuals who are experiencing serious mental health concerns. I also work well with people who are experiencing distress that is getting in the way of their daily life.

I provide clinical therapy for adults, couples. and families.

As a clinician who has worked beside first responders, police officers, and corrections officers for many years, I have an understanding of the unique stress Individuals in these roles face. I work well with both first responders and their loved ones.

In addition to clinical therapy, I provide clinical consultation services and critical incident debriefing services. I specialize in consulting with both clinical and law enforcement related programs working with high risk mental health populations. I provide consultation on managing, hiring, and retaining employees who work with high risk client populations, as well as suicide prevention programing. My career has been specialized to mental health crisis and suicide prevention programing. I have particular expertise in mental health crisis line/988 programing, mobile crisis response, and mental health crisis evaluation.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical approach to working with Individuals to problem solve concerns and build skills to manage distress.

In practice I have been told that my approach is kind and compassionate, but I am not afraid to talk about difficult issues and concerns.

I always seek to understand in order to provide the best support possible.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will ask questions about the concerns that you have right now. I will ask abut your goals for therapy. I will ask about relevant mental health and medical history. The purpose of this is to start to understand how I can help while working with you.
