Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sarah. I believe that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration—I meet you where you are and work alongside you to navigate life’s challenges.

I specialize in helping individuals work through trauma, anxiety, depression, mood and adjustment disorders, grief, and identity-related experiences. I also provide affirming care for clients exploring or navigating gender identity and expression.

In our sessions, I draw from person-centered and humanistic principles, as well as evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused care. Together, we’ll focus on building insight, developing coping skills, and fostering resilience so you can move toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

Therapy is a space for growth, healing, and rediscovery—and you don’t have to take that journey alone. I’d be honored to support you along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and humanistic—I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to understand your experiences and help you move toward growth and balance.

I also integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions to support you in building coping skills, developing emotional awareness, and processing difficult experiences.

At the heart of my work is compassion and authenticity. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you can explore your story, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. We’ll start by talking about what brings you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your background, current challenges, and goals—but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

The first session is really about building a connection and creating a foundation of trust. We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like for you—what approaches or techniques could be most helpful, and how we can work collaboratively to support your growth and healing.
