Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who truly understands how life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. I know what it’s like to want a safe space where you can just breathe and be yourself—that’s exactly the kind of environment I strive to create. My own experiences have shown me how healing comes through connection, and I bring that warmth and empathy into every session.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and my Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Over the years, I’ve worked in schools, community mental health centers, and private practice, which has shaped my trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy. I’m deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive, client-centered care that honors your unique story.

I work with children (ages 6 and up), teens, and adults, supporting people through anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to talk, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported. I bring deep empathy and warmth into every session, so you can finally exhale, let your hair down, and just be yourself. My approach is compassionate and collaborative—I believe healing happens when you feel truly heard and respected. I work from a trauma-informed lens, honoring your unique story and your pace. And because I believe therapy doesn’t always have to be heavy, I bring humor into the room when it feels right. Therapy with me is a partnership rooted in trust, curiosity, care, and moments of laughter along the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding, along with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. In our sessions, you’ll gain a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, which can help you feel more grounded and empowered. You’ll also develop greater emotional resilience, healthier coping strategies, and improved relationships—both with yourself and others. Most importantly, clients often leave feeling heard, respected, and more connected to their authentic selves, with a renewed sense of hope and confidence to move forward.
