Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your treatment journey.

I earned my nursing degree and advanced practice training with a focus on psychiatric and mental health care, and I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings. My background includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions through medication management and therapeutic support.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and stress-related challenges. I take a collaborative and holistic approach to care, considering the whole person—mind and body—while working closely with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or ongoing management, I am committed to partnering with you to help you achieve stability, clarity, and improved overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that each client’s experience is unique, and treatment should be tailored to reflect their personal goals, values, and circumstances. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing openly.

I use a holistic and evidence-based approach that integrates thorough psychiatric assessment, medication management when appropriate, and supportive therapeutic interventions. I take time to educate clients about their diagnosis and treatment options so they can make informed decisions and feel empowered in their care.

I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns. My focus is not only symptom relief, but also helping clients build coping skills, resilience, and long-term stability.

Above all, I view treatment as a partnership. I work closely with my clients, regularly reassessing progress and adjusting care plans as needed to ensure we are moving toward meaningful and sustainable improvement.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where your concerns are taken seriously. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and heard from the very beginning.

The initial appointment typically focuses on a comprehensive assessment. We will discuss your current symptoms, personal and medical history, past treatment experiences, lifestyle factors, and what has led you to seek care at this time. This allows me to gain a full understanding of your needs and develop an accurate diagnosis.

We will also talk about your goals—what improvement looks like for you—and begin outlining a personalized treatment plan. If medication is appropriate, we will review options, benefits, and potential side effects so you can make an informed decision. I encourage questions and open dialogue throughout the process.

By the end of the first session, you can expect to have greater clarity about your symptoms, a clear plan moving forward, and reassurance that you have a supportive partner in your care. My aim is for you to leave feeling understood, informed, and hopeful about the next steps.
