Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Shannon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with seven years experience in psychotherapy. I received my Master’s in Social Work at the Greater Rochester Collaborative between Nazareth and Brockport University. My specialties include anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, emotion regulation, and trauma-informed care.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I have worked closely with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families and center on empowerment and affirmation of my clients. I honor and affirm all LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients and I align as a body liberation provider. I would love to support you through empathic listening, facilitated reflection, building coping skills, conflict resolution, and motivation to create time and space for your overall wellness.

What you can expect from me

I am looking forward to meeting you and speaking about what brings you to therapy at this time. It can be difficult to take the first steps in carving out time for yourself and to prioritize your wellness— I would love to support you in this journey.
