Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shannon. I bring over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including more than a decade as a nurse practitioner. I’ve worked as a family nurse practitioner since 2013, and over time my passion led me to focus my practice on mental wellness and emotional health. My path through many roles in healthcare—from nurse’s aide to NP—shapes a thoughtful, whole-person approach to care.

My approach to therapy

I take a thoughtful, unhurried and whole-person approach to care and enjoy working alongside clients to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. I’m especially interested in integrative mental health, hormone support, and perinatal care, and I believe mental wellness is deeply connected to the rest of our lives and bodies.

My style is warm, approachable, and collaborative. I aim to create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and human. I have additional training in ADHD care and perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, and I’m continuing advanced training in integrative psychiatry. My goal is for care to feel personalized, balanced, and grounded in real connection.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to talk and get to know each other. We’ll focus on what brought you in, what you’re hoping for, and what’s been feeling hard lately. There’s no pressure to have the “right” answers or tell your whole story all at once.

My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space and to leave you with a clearer sense of direction and next steps. Most clients walk away feeling heard, supported, and more at ease about moving forward.
