Board Certified in child, adolescent, adult and geriatric psychiatry. I have worked in various mental health specialties to include community mental health, geriatric psychiatry, and crisis stabilization for over a decade. I have extensive knowledge of neurocognitive disorders and have worked for a time as a graduate faculty member of Colorado State University-Pueblo.
As a Nurse Practitioner, I have generated skills at assessing clients, performing diagnostic evaluations, and providing medication management as appropriate. I strongly believe in a client centered approach to care and unwavering client advocacy. I have been successful at incorporating multiple techniques and tools to enhance and improve engagement in treatment.
My goal is to educate, motivate and provide support and compassion for anyone who seeks it. I work collaboratively, listen respectfully and provide feedback and guidance when appropriate. My goal for every client is that you leave every session feeling heard, empowered to take control of your life and motivated to make the changes necessary.
I do not prescribe BENZO type medications for any new patient looking to transfer medication.
