Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through meaningful personal growth. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, I bring both a strong clinical foundation and a deep passion for helping clients move toward the life they truly want to live.

As a practicing Christian, I am comfortable integrating faith‐based principles into the therapeutic process for clients who desire it. My commitment is to meet clients where they are, respect their values, and help them build a path forward that feels both realistic and empowering.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of evidence‐based modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Solution‐Focused Therapy to highlight strengths and create practical steps forward, Faith‐Based Counseling for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs, and Mindfulness practices to support grounding, emotional regulation, and present‐moment awareness.

As a Level 2 trained Gottman therapist, I bring specialized tools and interventions to my work with couples, helping partners improve communication, deepen connection, and navigate conflict more effectively. I also recognize the strong link between mental and physical well‐being. When clients are interested, I incorporate conversations around healthy lifestyle habits—such as sleep, movement, and stress management—to support a more holistic path to wellness.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a calm, welcoming space where they’re free to show up exactly as they are. I focus on creating an environment that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive, so we can begin building trust from the very start. We’ll spend time exploring what brings you in, what you’re hoping to change, and what feeling “better” or “more yourself” might look like for you.

Together, we’ll identify realistic, meaningful goals—nothing overwhelming or out of reach. My approach is collaborative and paced to match your comfort level. By the end of our first session, most clients walk away with a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of how we’ll work together, and the reassurance that they don’t have to navigate things alone. My aim is to help you begin moving toward the life you want, one grounded and achievable step at a time.
