Great to meet you!

I worked with foster children for 30 years and understand every kind of childhood trauma. My approach is about re narrating the myths that you ingrained as truths as a young child to learn to know your worth and value now and to heal from your trauma. Additionally, I do a lot of education on the neuroscience of the brain and how we can restructure the way our brain works. Understanding this helps heal us from trauma, reduces anxiety, stress and depression.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I used a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness & Meditation, Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy. Each client has a different "recipe" for them to reach their goals and the first few sessions are about building rapport and trust so we can find the approach that is your "recipe."

What you can expect from our first session

What was accomplished in the session, what they want to work on for the up and coming week and are we working towards meeting their goals.
