Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shelly! Founder of The Counseling Clinic. I specialize in Women’s Issues and Trauma.

Are you a woman who takes care of everyone else’s needs but struggles to take care of her own? Trust me, I completely understand, and I’m here to help you grow.

My expertise lies in supporting women on their journey to healing. The amazing women I meet discover how to heal from old wounds, advocate for themselves, set better boundaries, and value the incredible person they truly are.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work in a solution-focused manner to assist clients with empowering themselves. I also use a trauma-informed and cognitive-behavioral approach. To assist my clients with getting the healing, they need from past trauma and reframing any negative or self-critical thoughts that might be holding them back.

What you can expect from our first session

I assist my clients with learning to trust themselves after painful or abusive experiences. I help them learn to set healthy boundaries, be more assertive, engage in creative problem-solving, and develop healthy coping skills.
