Great to meet you!

Hello, there. My name is Sherri James and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker having earned my Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University in New York City. I have extensive clinical expertise working in a variety of behavioral health settings for over two decades. I am here to help you on your journey of self exploration. My goal with providing therapy is to help you to attain your personal best. I believe that everyone deserves this unselfish gift.

My approach to therapy

I provide quality, tailored treatment for individuals using evidenced, based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral Activation. I use a HIPAA protected platform so that our conversations and interactions are private and confidential.

What you can expect from me

I understand that establishing trust is a necessary step in order for us to have a meaningful relationship. For this reason, we will go at your own pace so that you feel comfortable. I’ve been told by my clients that they feel enlightened and empowered through their conversations with me. To me, that is they way it should be.
