Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment and trauma-informed care. I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, unresolved trauma, and coping patterns involving alcohol or other substances. My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience, allowing me to meet clients with empathy, honesty, and respect. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe enough to explore difficult patterns without shame and supported enough to build something healthier in their place.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in practical skill-building. I integrate CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and relapse prevention strategies to help clients understand the roots of anxiety and coping behaviors. We explore how past experiences may influence present reactions while developing emotional regulation tools that feel sustainable in daily life. I balance compassion with gentle accountability, helping clients move forward at a pace that feels steady and empowering rather than overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what’s been weighing on you and what you’d like to see change. You can move at a pace that feels comfortable, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your history, current stressors, and coping patterns. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and clearer about next steps and how we can begin working toward meaningful progress together.
