Great to meet you!

I believe in the power of building a therapeutic relationship with my clients wherein I can support them through life’s difficulties and challenge them to grow in areas of interest to them. As a therapist, I seek to help those whom I work with to gain courage and confidence to continue to navigate through life and live more harmoniously with the world around them.

From my perspective, counseling is a collaborative relationship where I can offer validation, empathy, perspective, and new skills so my clients can expand their ability to cope with life’s challenges. Although the foundation of my work lies in the strength-based and person-centered theoretical approach, I tend to draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each individual.

My approach to therapy

My goal as a therapist is to support my clients in whatever life’s difficulty may be and to challenge them to grow and become a better and healthier version of themselves. I seek to understand what my client's individual goals and needs are and work together to feel better. I value a balance of affirming and empowering those I work with while providing humor and kindness in challenging my clients.

What you can expect from me

I seek to provide support and challenges that serve my clients to grow in areas of interest to them. I hope my clients leave feeling heard, understood, and supported in ways to meet the challenges they are facing.
