Great to meet you!

My name is Sonia Gomez, I am a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist who works with individuals seeking support and a meaningful change. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that my goal is to make this space feel safe, respectful, and supportive from the very beginning. I believe that therapy works best when it's collaborative and tailored to you. I have been working with Teens and young adults for about 5 years who are mostly dealing with Anxiety and Depression.

My approach to therapy

My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore patterns, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is about gaining insight, building skills, and feeling more connected to yourself and your life. I adjust my approach based on what feels most helpful for you, and we more at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we have a chance to get to know each other and begin creating a space that feels safe and supportive for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable. The first session is not about fixing everything, it's about starting a conversations and seeing if this feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and a little more grounded.
