Great to meet you!

Welcome—I'm glad you're here. My name is Spring Archuleta-Perez, and I bring nearly four and a half years of post-graduate clinical experience, along with a depth of life experience that informs and enriches my work as a therapist. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) with full LMFT licensure expected in September 2025, and I am currently completing my credentialing as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), with anticipated licensure in March 2026.

I work with individuals, teens, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and I approach treatment with the understanding that sustainable healing often requires addressing the full scope of a person's internal and relational world.

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structural Family Therapy, DBT, CBT, and EMDR. I take a systems-informed perspective, often working with the whole family unit to support more lasting and meaningful change.

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for your unique story. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you can reconnect with your strengths, gain insight, and move toward the life and relationships you want. Whether you’re feeling stuck or ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I’m here to walk alongside you with intention and care.

My approach to therapy

My work with clients is grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. I strive to create a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and inclusive and where clients feel safe to explore vulnerability, challenge patterns, and move toward growth at their own pace.

I take a relational and integrative approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. My style blends structure with flexibility, and I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance as the foundation for meaningful change. I frequently incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structural Family Therapy, DBT, CBT, and EMDR to support healing and insight across emotional, cognitive, and behavioral levels.

I specialize in working with individuals, teens, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, identity development, relational conflict, and substance use. I have significant experience in co-occurring disorders and take a systems-informed perspective—often exploring family dynamics and intergenerational patterns as part of the healing process.

When working with adolescents and families, I focus on restoring communication, repairing attachment injuries, and fostering resilience across the family unit. With adults, I often support clients in reconnecting with their internal strengths, developing emotional regulation skills, and cultivating a life that aligns with their values.

My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered; whether you’re navigating crisis, rebuilding after loss, deepening self-awareness, or making space for joy and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a therapeutic environment that is warm, compassionate, and grounded in trust and authenticity. I prioritize creating a space where individuals and families feel safe to be themselves and free of judgment, pressure, or pretense. My goal is to foster an environment that encourages curiosity, emotional safety, and open exploration.

In our work together, clients often come away with a deeper understanding of themselves, increased emotional awareness, and greater clarity around their values and goals. Whether we’re working through anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, or identity development, our sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs.

Clients can expect to develop practical skills for emotional regulation, communication, boundary setting, and self-compassion, while also addressing the deeper patterns and narratives that may be keeping them stuck. For couples and families, I focus on restoring connection, improving communication, and healing relational wounds within the broader family system.

Some of the common outcomes we work toward include:

  • Strengthening self-awareness and internal insight
  • Building coping strategies and emotional resilience
  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation
  • Reconnecting with personal values and inner strengths
  • Healing trauma and exploring identity in a safe, supported space
  • Creating healthier relationship patterns and boundaries

Above all, clients can expect a therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I see therapy as a partnership—we move at your pace, honor your process, and celebrate progress in all its forms.
