Great to meet you!

For over 10 years I have enjoyed working with people to help them make changes to their life by bringing my education, life experience, compassion, and empathy to each opportunity. My sessions are directed by meeting people where they are with unconditional acceptance and support.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a parent of 10 adult children, and foster parent to many more, I learned to accept many different life experiences and backgrounds. This lead me to pursue a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as a second career in my early middle ages. My approach to therapy is to be open to my client's needs and wants and exploring what works best for the client, using an acceptance of who the client is and what needs to change for the client.

What you can expect from our first session

Homework helps clients in between sessions to achieve and master new ideas and skills to improve the clients ownership of the experience. As a counselor I strive to help each client to find hope, improvement, and satisfaction of progress in each session. I enjoy feedback from my clients to help my work with each individual.
