Great to meet you!

Before becoming a counselor, I served as a law enforcement officer, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique stressors and culture within the field. Since 2010, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with military service members, veterans, first responders, and their families—both in individual and group settings. I understand the pressure to stay strong, the difficulty in asking for help, and the impact the job can have on personal and family life.

My approach is practical, direct, and grounded in respect for the values of service, duty, and resilience. I provide a safe space for those in the helping professions to speak openly—without judgment—about what they’re carrying, both on and off the job. Whether you’re dealing with operational stress, trauma, burnout, family strain, or identity transitions after service, I tailor support to honor your experience while helping you reconnect with your own strength, values, and goals.

This work is personal to me. I know what it means to protect and serve, and I’m committed to helping those who do the same find a way forward with clarity, privacy, and purpose.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Whether you’re an adult navigating life’s challenges, a teen seeking support, or a parent searching for guidance, I am here to help. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, I tailor my methods to meet the unique needs of each client. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment, where you can explore your concerns and find the tools to foster resilience, growth, and well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients who engage in therapy with me can expect to leave each session feeling supported, validated, and empowered. My goal is to create a positive, non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves freely, knowing they will be heard and understood. I approach therapy from a place of empathy, ensuring that every individual feels valued for who they are and the experience they bring to the table.
