Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Stephanie! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I have had the privilege of working closely with both young and older adults who have bravely faced the challenges of anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

In my practice, I believe in the power of evidence-based therapies to help my clients navigate their journey towards healing. I draw upon a diverse set of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-oriented Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. By combining these modalities, I have witnessed remarkable progress in my clients, enabling them to experience brighter and more fulfilling day-to-day lives.

When you choose to work with me, you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey, tackling life's challenges with the support of evidence-based research and a compassionate ear. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, a path to overcome depression, or simply someone to confide in, I am here for you every step of the way.

Don't let life's obstacles hold you back any longer. Take the first step towards a more balanced and fulfilling life by reaching out to me today. Together, we will unlock your true potential and help you thrive!

My approach to therapy

I have found that my style and approach are suitable for young-early or middle-older aged adults who are dealing with complex issues, and relationships or going through stressful life-changing events. This often manifests in isolation, loneliness, anger, stress, anxiety, and depression. I work with my clients to build up their confidence, learn to regulate their thoughts and emotions, and develop a more positive outlook on life.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend time talking about how you have been feeling, and how this has affected you lately, and for me to ask questions to better understand why you are feeling this way and listening. The first session is about building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of what is important to you and where you would like to go from there. I treat everyone as an individual, I like to listen and ask questions to help me know what will work best for you in our therapy sessions together.
