Great to meet you!

Not only am I a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor who specializes in anxiety and depression, I am a mother and grandmother. I believe that adversities that life presents us, are opportunities for growth and a chance for improvement in our daily life. I am solution-focused and have a person-centered approach as well as strength based. I received my Master of Social Work at U.S.C. with a concentration in Mental Health. I have worked in substance abuse treatment centers, families, & crisis intervention.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is goal oriented with the client's best interest as the priority. I believe that we all have strengths, however, at certain times in our life we may need some assistance. I am open minded and culturally sensitive, as I am first generation American. One of my goals for the client is a feeling of self-empowerment.

What you can expect from me
