Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I have been providing therapy and testing since 2012 and have been independently licensed since 2017. I am considered a generalist, meaning I treat a wide variety of problems using several techniques. For therapy, I particularly enjoy working with tweens and teens, though I also work with adults. For testing, I work with children as young as 3 through adulthood.

My approach to therapy

My specific areas of interest in therapy include working through interpersonal problems and helping people identify, express, and deal with strong emotions. I also enjoy psychological assessment/testing with children, adolescents, and adults, with an emphasis on assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism and ADHD.

What you can expect from me

Therapy tends to be a combination of reducing immediate problems and distress using coping and emotional regulation skills, and of identifying and processing the factors that led to the distress developing. Basically, I try to balance treating symptoms that are disrupting daily life and treating the underlying issues that caused the symptoms in the first place.
