Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has 9 years of experience working in the mental health field. Currently I live and practice in Idaho, as well as practice in the states of Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Throughout my career I have worked with multiple challenges related to mental and behavioral health, addiction, relationships, personality disorders, culture, spirituality, agricultural/rural life, and homelessness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that healing and understanding occurs when there is a strong client-counselor relationship which is caring, non-judgmental, and focuses from the client's point of view. I believe in the resiliency of people and the importance of bringing to the surface internal strengths and values which individuals can use to empower themselves with the ability to move forward in their lives. I also focus on the power of connection leads to healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

While working together some of the tasks in therapy would be building understanding and awareness surrounding the issues. Once we have dived a little more into the roots of the matter, we will look at different ways of managing or coping with it. We can do this through building skills which may be useful, as well as being able to possibly look at it from a different perspective. I look forward to meeting with you soon!
