Great to meet you!

I took a long and winding road to clinical therapy work, having spent years in publishing before a volunteer role lead me to pursuing my Master of Social Work degree and eventual clinical licensure. When I realized how many people are in need of professional clinical work, I devoted myself to learning behavioral approaches to teaching clients to use effective coping skills to cope with life challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to be warm and welcoming while creating space for positive growth through a solution-focused, strengths-based approach. I recognize that clients know best what they've been through and what they want, so I employ an collaborative approach so we can search for solutions together.

What you can expect from me

In a first session, I will be honored and interested to meet with you and learn from you what has happened or is happening in your life so that we can create goals for treatment and desired outcomes together!
