Great to meet you!

Welcome to therapy! I am so happy you are here!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 8 years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. I’m passionate about creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and motivated to move toward healing.

My background includes work in schools, outpatient therapy, crisis response, chaplaincy, pastoral care, and faith-based counseling. I hold graduate degrees in Theology and Biblical Counseling, along with advanced training in trauma treatment and crisis intervention. This range of experience helps me bring both clinical skill and genuine compassion to the work we do together.

I believe every person has a story worth honoring. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that is tailored to your values, strengths, and goals, so you feel safe, respected, and cared for throughout the counseling process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, build practical coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting change. I specialize in supporting adults with trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, and spiritual integration, and for clients who want it, I also offer an integrative faith-based approach that respectfully incorporates their spiritual values into the counseling process.

My style is warm, attentive, and encouraging, and I want clients to feel that they do not have to carry their struggles alone. Together, we focus not only on symptom relief, but also on deeper healing across emotional, relational, intellectual, and spiritual areas of life so that therapy feels practical and personally meaningful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is helping you feel welcomed, comfortable, and heard. This is a space for us to begin building trust, explore what brings you to therapy, and identify what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll talk through the challenges you’re facing, the strengths and supports already present in your life, and the goals you want to work toward.

I’ll also take time to understand your beliefs and personal story so that therapy feels relevant to who you are as a whole person. You can expect a first session that is gentle, collaborative, and focused on creating a strong foundation for future work, with the hope that you leave feeling seen, respected, and encouraged that healing is possible.
