Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed therapist specializing in addiction — particularly gambling addiction and chemical dependency. My work is grounded in both clinical training and something equally important: lived experience. I've been in personal recovery from gambling and substance use for over twenty-five years, which means I understand addiction not just as a clinician, but as someone who has felt its weight firsthand.

That dual perspective shapes everything about how I work with clients. I know the heartache addiction brings — not only to the person struggling, but to everyone who loves them. And I know that a fulfilling life in recovery is possible, because I'm living it.

If you're ready to find your own way forward, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I love being a therapist — and I believe that comes through in every session. I don't see you simply as a client or a patient. I see a whole person: someone with a family, relationships, and a life you care about, who has struggled to find balance and emotional wellness, and who has trusted me to help you get there.

That trust is something I take seriously. My approach starts with honoring it.

What you can expect from me

From the start, you can expect a collaborative partnership — not a therapist who sits back and listens passively, or one who tells you what to do. Therapy works best when we're in it together.

I also want you to know that my work doesn't stop when our session ends. Between appointments, I'm thinking about what's keeping you stuck and how we can find a path forward that's genuinely yours.

Above all, I strive to be accessible and accepting — because you can only be honest and open when you feel safe enough to be.
