Hello! My name is Steven and I’m a Master’s level therapist Board-certified, state-licensed mental health counselor (MS in Clinical Counseling Psychology) with 13 years in the field. I’m here on Headway in hopes of being of assistance to clients seeking non-judgmental support and evidence-based counseling that works.

Choosing a counselor is an important step and can make the difference between “almost” and “I made it!” I am experienced in private practice, government health agencies, and community mental health clinics and use it to help my clients create meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy finding ways to match my clients' strengths and interests with research-based clinical approaches to best support their goals. While my primary modality is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to, my therapy approach brings in knowledge and techniques from a wide variety of treatment approaches depending on will be of best benefit to you.

In our first session we are able to get to know one another, discuss the areas you're thinking about or want to work on, and go over what you're looking for in a therapist.
