Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 18 years of experience working with teens and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma. I believe that meaningful change happens in a space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

I completed my graduate-level education and clinical training in mental health counseling and have spent my career working in a variety of clinical settings, which has allowed me to support individuals with diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and needs. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with adolescents, adults, and families facing both everyday stressors and more complex emotional and relational challenges.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and relationship issues, and I am especially mindful of how life transitions, stress, and past experiences can impact emotional well-being. I draw from evidence-based practices and tailor treatment to meet each client where they are, honoring their goals, values, and pace

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal-oriented, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify strengths, set meaningful goals, and build practical solutions that support positive change. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing skills to manage stress, anxiety, and mood challenges with greater awareness and balance.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals and hopes for the process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, challenges, and strengths, while also giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace.
