I have a Master's degree in Clinical/Community counseling from Francis Marion University. I have worked at Pee Dee Community Health Center for over 25 years. I specialize in working with women experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transition challenges.
My interaction style is warm and casual, welcoming all with an open-minded perspective. I use Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered therapy techniques as well as Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused strategies to help clients define and achieve specific goals in 6-12 months.
The first session is a time to get to know each other and for the client to share their reasons for coming to therapy and the goals they wish to achieve.
