Great to meet you!

I’ve been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 1994 and in Colorado since 2012.

My work has been in a variety of settings ranging from counseling centers to large community behavioral health agencies, and within national not-for-profit research and social work organizations. I also taught psychology at the undergraduate level for 20 years. I am the founder and owner of Artwell & Clarity.

My approach to therapy

My work focuses on depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, attention deficits, self-esteem, and things like stage-of-life issues, such as divorce or transitioning into adulthood.

My approach is influenced by family systems, psychodynamic viewpoints, and developmental psychology. I integrate many modalities, particularly cognitive behavioral, narrative, and brief solution-focused interventions. My work is dynamic and client-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and resilience-oriented.

What you can expect from me

Clients will take away hope, perspective, ideas for implementing change, and empowerment.
