Susana Garsilazo-Flores

Hello, my name is Susana Garsilazo-Flores. I have been in private practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for one year. However, I have provided mental health services, including school-based and center-based counseling, for 25 years in the field of social work, with a focus on foster care. My goal in therapy is to meet you where you are and support you at a comfortable pace while guiding you toward meaningful change. I have experience working with various concerns, including child abuse trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, single parenting, and grief and loss.

My experience is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness. I believe in individualizing treatment to fit the client’s needs and take a strength-based approach in treatment.
