Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and North Carolina, with a Master’s in Social Work and over 18 years of experience providing care in hospice, hospital, and renal care settings. I provide a collaborative, client-centered space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe and supportive environment. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I incorporate DBT-informed skills, such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance, to help clients manage overwhelming emotions and navigate challenges. I take an affirming and empowering approach, helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and practical tools to face life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

My approach to therapy

I provide an open-minded, affirming, and empowering space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach is collaborative and participatory, I work alongside clients to identify unhelpful patterns in thinking and behavior and to develop practical skills for managing anxiety, depression, and grief. My goal is to foster self-awareness, resilience, and confidence, so clients feel supported and equipped to handle life’s challenges with clarity and strength.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, affirming, and empowering space where you feel safe to share your challenges. We’ll focus on understanding your goals, exploring the issues you’re facing, and identifying patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll set collaborative goals and begin outlining practical strategies to support growth, resilience, and emotional well-being. My aim is to create a supportive experience where you feel heard, understood, and equipped to take meaningful steps forward.
