Hi. I am Suzy Zumwalde, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio. I have a MA from Antioch University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Trauma Counseling. I specialize in youth, adolescent, and adult counseling.
Counseling should not be a “one size fits all” mentality. My philosophy as a therapist is to treat each client as a unique individual and to assist in their journey to find healing and growth in an empathetic, non-judgmental, non-biased, respectful, and genuine manner.
I take a person centered approach to counseling so the client helps guide the process. I feel it is important as a counselor to provide empathy and support in a safe space that facilitates healing and growth for clients.
