Great to meet you!

As a licensed therapist, I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to helping clients navigate life’s challenges. I have experience working in a dual-diagnosis treatment center, where I supported individuals facing substance use disorders alongside a wide range of mental health concerns. My work has deepened my understanding of how trauma impacts many areas of life, and I specialize in helping clients address trauma and its effects, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and substance use.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, direct, and compassionate. I believe meaningful growth often requires both empathy and understanding, so I strive to create a space where you feel deeply understood while also being thoughtfully challenged. I will gently but directly help you identify patterns, explore the roots of your experiences, and confront what may be keeping you stuck. At the same time, I move at a pace that feels safe and respectful, recognizing how trauma can shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others. My goal is to balance support with accountability, empowering you to build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and structured conversation focused on understanding what makes you who you are. I’ll gather important background information, including your family of origin, significant relationships, mental health history, occupation, and any current challenges you’re facing. This helps me see the full picture of your experiences and the patterns that may be influencing your life today. While we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, the first session is an opportunity to begin building insight, clarity, and a strong foundation for our work together.
