Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sydney. I believe that every area of our life can affect our mental and physical health, that's why my passion is helping you find Peace and balance in your life. Achieving that looks different for every person and I am excited to help you on that journey!

Because you are a unique individual, I use various therapy techniques to tailor your sessions to what you need. I have been known to encourage dance parties and sing-a-longs in my sessions and also love all things nerd! Let's talk about Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and Doctor Who!

My journey into the therapy practice started with working with moms and families and helping navigate the world of adding a new child to a family. My path has led me to working with children in foster care, grief support, family dynamics, and much more. I hold a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor's degree in Costume Design from Harding University. I am also a certified fitness instructor as well as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is collaborative and supportive. Together, we’ll identify the areas in your life that feel “stuck” and explore what may be holding you back from the changes you want to see. I help you look at the whole picture—your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily experiences—to find meaningful opportunities for growth. As a team, we’ll work toward improving your mental health, and I’ll be there to support and encourage you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will look at an overview of what your are experiencing, your current environment, and what you want to gain from therapy.
