Great to meet you!

Sometimes life brings challenges that can leave us feeling stuck or off balance. I’m T. Shavon Flores, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and South Carolina, Army Veteran, and military spouse who’s passionate about helping others find hope and healing through life’s ups and downs. With experience as both a teacher and school counselor, I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults facing issues like anxiety, grief, stress, self-esteem, and anger. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’m here to listen, support, and walk with you as you create the changes you want in your life. You don’t have to go through this alone, we’ll take it one step at a time, together.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration. I believe everyone’s story is unique, and together we’ll explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and find ways to move forward. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. Healing is a journey, and I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little uncertain, and that’s completely okay. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brought you here at your own pace. We’ll talk about your goals, explore what you hope to gain from therapy, and start building a foundation of trust and understanding. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead as we begin this journey together.
