Great to meet you!

I am a first-generation college student and foster care alum. I entered this field as a way to deeper understand my own family. I hold a Master's in Social Work and have my clinical license. I spent about 10 years doing clinical work. My most notable working with first responders from 9/11 who were struggling with PTSD. I spent 14 years in the child welfare realm. I am also a Field instructor where I mentor and supervise social work students. I work with couples typically dealing with infidelity, teenagers and navigating emotional and feelings. I work with young adults managing work stressors/trauma, relationships and family dynamics. I also complete specialized reports (Bariatric Assessments & etc.), support groups and support animal letters.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I consider myself a generalist practitioner because I tailor sessions, interventions and approaches to the needs of the client and session. There is no way we can work on self esteem if you are dealing with an emotional crisis.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients often leave session with a new perspective and outlook. Clients will be in deep thought and reflection on their emotions, feelings and behaviors. Clients realizing how the three are connected and their importance in life.
