Great to meet you!

Since 2013, I have worked in a wide variety of roles helping others, with a Bachelors in Human Development in 2014 from Empire State University of New York. In 2017, I decided to pursue clinical practice and obtained my Master of Arts at John Jay College in Forensic Mental Health Counseling in 2022. I have worked clinically full time since then all ages, focusing on adults with co-occurring diagnoses, in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings.

My approach to therapy

I genuinely believe in our ability to change our lives to ones we imagine. Sometimes, we all benefit from support on this journey. I have an empowered view of those seeking change, and take a supportive, client-centered, open-minded approach with those with whom I work. As you are the expert of your own life, I take a collaborative stance using CBT, Somatic, Mindfulness, Trauma-informed, and Solution-focused approaches, among others.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will discuss what you hope to gain from counseling and will include introductory assessments to help gain this information. Once we decide some initial goals together, we will decide what type of approaches we will take in our sessions that will best support your experience towards these goals in counseling. We will also discuss our treatment schedule. I hope you will feel heard, seen, and understood in the space we create together that is entirely for you.
