Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my passion for mental health began with my first degree—a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mississippi State University. I later attended nursing school at Northeast Mississippi Community College and further advanced my nursing education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Mental Health from Walden University.

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of South Alabama, continuing my commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based care.

I provide a welcoming, safe, and judgment-free environment where my patients feel comfortable discussing their mental health. My goal is to equip individuals with the education, support, and tools they need to feel empowered to be themselves and live active, productive lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, respected, and understood. I work closely with my patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, education, and lifestyle strategies. My goal is to empower each person with the tools and knowledge they need to actively participate in their healing and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we will take time to get to know one another. I will ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, and overall goals for treatment. This initial visit is a comprehensive assessment designed to help me fully understand your needs.

We will also discuss possible treatment options, which may include medication management, lifestyle adjustments, and supportive strategies. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
