Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.

My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.

Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both grounding and practical, with a strong focus on helping you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact—especially during times of stress or uncertainty.

Together, we work on building skills that help you manage overwhelming thoughts, relate to difficult emotions in healthier ways, and make choices that reflect what truly matters to you. Rather than trying to eliminate discomfort altogether, therapy focuses on increasing your ability to stay present, respond with intention, and move forward even when life feels challenging.

I place a strong emphasis on values-guided living—helping you identify what gives your life meaning and using that clarity to guide decisions, boundaries, and daily actions. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, offering both insight and practical tools you can apply between sessions so progress continues in real life, not just in the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a time to slow down and begin building understanding—both of what you’re experiencing and of you as a whole person.

During this session, I’ll guide us through a thoughtful clinical assessment to help clarify what’s bringing you to therapy and how different areas of your life may be contributing to what you’re feeling. This isn’t a test or interrogation—it’s a collaborative conversation designed to better understand your history, current stressors, strengths, and goals, so our work together can be well-informed and supportive.

Throughout the session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you’re encouraged to share at your own pace. My aim is that you leave feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about the next steps, with a growing sense that therapy can be a steady place of support as you move forward.
