Dr. Taylor-Kristen Myers Saltzgaver, PHD, is a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, evidence-based care. Serving patients throughout Florida, she provides individual and family therapy. She also provides psychological testing, offering comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults that establish appropriate diagnoses and guide effective treatment planning. Dr. Myers Saltzgaver earned her advanced degrees from the University of Arizona and the University of South Florida. Her extensive training has equipped her with the knowledge and clinical expertise to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her sons, practicing yoga, and writing. An avid NFL fan, reader, and theme park enthusiast, she values balance and self-care—principles she encourages in her clients as well.

My approach to therapy

With expertise in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and PTSD/trauma, Dr. Myers Saltzgaver is passionate about helping individuals manage overwhelming emotions, improve self-awareness and internal locus of control, and finally heal from past experiences. Whether guiding a child struggling with attention difficulties, supporting a teen dealing with social anxiety, or helping an adult process trauma, she empowers clients to take meaningful steps toward positive change. Her therapeutic approach integrates Psychodynamic, Experiential and various forms of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). By blending techniques such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, and cognitive restructuring, Dr. Myers Saltzgaver seeks to help clients achieve their goals in their own individualized way.
