Great to meet you!

I have always been drawn to a field that allows me to assist others in expanding their perspectives through teaching and showing them the importance of self-love and appreciation. I held a teaching role in the aquatics setting for a decade where I worked with young children, adolescents, and adults on building self-confidence and trust in unknown territories.

I challenge, but do not push clients too hard too soon. Taking a deep look at oneself takes courage and vulnerability. I understand that it takes time to build trust with another person. I hold space for all my clients, meeting them where they are, even if it is day to "shoot the shit".

My approach to therapy

I use an holistic approach, focusing on the client's relationship first with the self and then with others. Who we are today is not who we were. How we show ourselves to the world may not be who we truly are or how we want to show up. The focus of session is to allow my client the space to dive into a deeper relationship with themselves, others, and fine tune their future goals.

From a Family Systems perspective, clients will explore how their present-day life is influenced by significant relationships and events from the past, learn to unstick themselves and decisively go for what they truly desire.

What you can expect from me

Have you ever empowered yourself by tuning into and recognizing your Inner Child? Our Inner Child rules the subconscious mind. The Inner Child knows our deepest needs, desires, and dreams. The more we tune in and listen to our “kid”, the more our intuition strengthens and the more decisive we become. Life becomes lighter.

When we grow up with emotionally unavailable or uninvolved parents, our inner child can become silenced and lost. We create an identity called the False Self. With a false self, we may pick identities and have relationships that do not make us truly happy. Our decisions are based on the assumed expectations of others. The trick is to reconnect with our inner child to come back to our most genuine and authentic self.
