Teryn is trained in DBT and has completed Level 1 and Level 2 of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. On a more personal level, Teryn is a nurturer at heart and will be your biggest cheerleader. Teryn will walk alongside you throughout this therapeutic journey. However, that is only a part of it. Teryn will also challenge you to look at things from a different perspective, try a new skill, and put yourself in stressful situations for the best growth opportunity.
Teryn believes that safety is #1; an environment and the individuals in it need to be safe in order for growth to occur. Teryn expects clients who are willing and ready to make active changes in their lives as well as accept help from a trusting adult. Past clients have reported that Teryn is excellent at making them feel heard and validated.
