Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I started my journey in community mental health 7 years ago working with kids and adults with severe mental illness and those individuals impacted by poverty. This experience has created a passion for helping others. My vision in therapy is to provide a safe, non-judgmental place for clients to share their experiences and emotions without fear. I pride myself on being down-to-earth and building real human connections with all clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best approach to therapy is what best meets the needs of the client. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and fits what each client needs. I also utilize a range of Cognitive behavioral, Solution-Focused techniques, and trauma-informed techniques. For children, I utilize play therapy and CBT to build skills to manage emotions/behaviors and to build social skills. For adults, I am experienced in helping individuals and couples alike build confidence in healthy communication and boundaries. I believe that healthy relationships are important in building a strong foundation. I also utilize CBT and mindfulness to support individuals in building the skills to manage depression and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

I see therapy as a collaborative effort. Clients can expect to walk away with skills they can practice and effective strategies that promote healing and inspire growth. For children, parents will receive practical strategies to help children understand and navigate emotions and behaviors.
