Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Timothy (Tim) Won, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and retired U.S. Army Chaplain with over 24 years of experience serving individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in helping clients navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My training includes EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, and Neurofeedback. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and practical approach tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. My passion is helping people find healing, restore hope, and build stronger relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I work alongside clients to identify their strengths, understand the challenges they face, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Drawing from EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, CBT, and Neurofeedback, I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and military or veteran-related concerns. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can heal, grow, and build healthier relationships.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where they can share their story at their own pace. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for therapy, while identifying what you hope to achieve through the counseling process. I will take time to understand your unique circumstances and answer any questions you may have about treatment. Together, we will develop an initial plan tailored to your needs and priorities. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
