Great to meet you!
With 18 years of experience in the mental health field and nearly a decade as a licensed clinician in Virginia, I bring both depth and practical insight to the counseling process. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I aim to create a relaxed, conversational environment where clients feel comfortable being honest and engaged. I value immediacy—working with what’s happening in the moment—to help clients gain insight and make meaningful changes in real time.
In addition to my clinical training, I hold a degree in theology, which allows me to thoughtfully explore the intersection of spirituality and mental health for those who wish to incorporate that dimension into their work. Whether addressing specific challenges or seeking personal growth, my goal is to offer a collaborative, grounded, and effective therapeutic experience.
