Great to meet you!

Hello there! My name is Trennell, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a Master of Art Degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. I enjoy supporting children and adolescents (6-17) and young adults (18+) with behavioral, emotional, or social difficulties who struggle with issues like anxiety, stress, depression, lack of motivation and low self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind, spirit, and body are interconnected. My theory is that when individuals have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, you are free to experience change. I am trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cue-Centered Therapy.

What you can expect from me

My goal-setting approach is by working with my clients and creating a plan that works for them. We will collaborate and create incremental goals based on your treatment plan. It is important to create measurable goals and monitor progress.
