Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Trisha Stewart, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, based in California. With over 15+ years of experience in community mental health, I decided to make the change to full-time therapy, because I understand the profound impact of having someone who truly listens and supports you through life's challenges. This personal journey fuels my passion for creating a space where you can explore your challenges, build the skills to cope and take meaningful steps toward a life aligned with your values.

I provide individual and couples therapy for anyone who is ready and willing to seek support. Whether you are facing personal challenges or navigating relationship dynamics, I'm here to help guide you toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. My practice focuses on providing a safe space for healing from stressful life events while, helping individuals understand their thoughts and learn how to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In our work together, I offer a gentle, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. I believe healing happens when we learn to make space for our thoughts and feelings.

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused interventions. I'll help you move through challenges with greater ease and reconnect with what matters most to you. I will help you learn how to accept your thoughts and feelings without letting them hold you back, while also focusing on practical solutions and steps that move you toward the life you want. Together we will identify your strengths, clarify what matters most to you and build momentum toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from our first session

Together, we'll work on building skills that help you stay present, connect with your values and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. We will explore how your core beliefs shape your behaviors and work on practical steps to help you live in alignment with what matters most to you. My goal is to support you in doing what matters most, even in the presence of difficult emotions.

If you are ready to get out of your head and into your life, Let's Talk!!
